Thursday, February 9

• A RIEAS workshop for faculty and staff, “Enhancing Your Professionalism,” will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life conference room. To register, contact Cindy Donnelly at Ext. 3160 or cynthia.donnelly@salve.edu.
• Svaroopa yoga will be held from 12:15-1:15 p.m. in the Ochre Court drawing room. Walk-ins are welcome at a cost of $15 per session.

Friday, February 10

• Mosaic, Salve Regina's student newspaper, will offer a hands-on workshop for students interested in joining the newspaper as writers, editors or reporters from 1-5 p.m. in the Antone Academic Center, Room 220.
• International students are invited to join Aida Neary, international student adviser, for pizza and a movie at 5:30 p.m. in the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life.
• We Shot the Moon, a piano-heavy, four-piece indie rock band from San Diego, will perform at 9 p.m. in Ochre Court as part of the Friday Night Live series.

• The Student Government Association will sponsor a graduation fair from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 in Ochre Court. Offices in attendance will include Alumni/Parent Programs, the bookstore, Business Office, Career Development, Commencement Office, Community Service, Mercy Center for Spiritual Life and Student Activities. Raffles for a Jostens ring and a personalized graduation announcement package will be held.
• The 2012 Newport Winter Festival is offering student discounts to several events. Students who present a valid Salve Regina ID may purchase Winter Festival buttons for $6, tickets to Frank Santos the R-rated hypnotist for $7, tickets to the Eagles tribute band Tequila Sunrise for $12, admission to the Health and Wellness Fair for $5 and admission to the Chili Cook Off for $6. • Salve Regina is anticipating offering a limited number of scholarships for graduate study in rehabilitation counseling beginning in the summer of 2012. Applicants must have leadership potential and be able to demonstrate experience working with people with disabilities as well as multicultural backgrounds.
